My name is Jaakko Viitalähde. I provide precise, individual mastering for both digital releases and vinyl, and have done so since 2005. My particular specialty is cutting lacquer masters, which are used to create the stampers used in record pressing. It is a highly detailed craft where the quality of the cut directly defines the final sound of the vinyl record.
I also enjoy working with emerging artists. It is important to me that every release is carefully finished and that its sound reflects the artist’s own vision, regardless of genre.
My studio is located in Kuhmoinen, southern Finland, where I live a simple life in the peaceful countryside, dedicating myself to giving your music the perfect finishing touch it deserves.
